Lately, I’ve noticed that some people are living as if, “100% fuck money” or “100% Get Money by any means necessary”, are the only financial paths in life. Yeah, I’m against mindless materialistic tendencies but you still got to make sure that the bare essentials are covered.
Being on 100% artistry can have you looking mad hungry, For Real.
It’s called being a starving artist for a reason.
That is why people need to “sponsor" themselves. Just think about how, “A little education” +”A gravy job” = “Your own personal music studio, Skate trips every weekend, Unlimited art supplies, Brand new camera equipment, etc., etc.”
…I already know that a lot of y’all are dedicated to the crafts that you do…
So look at it like this...why not get on the grind FOR what you want…you’d be surprised how much you can keep it 100% when you don’t have to worry about making ends meet with what you love to do.
Which means you can get were you want to be a lot faster.
Not to mention that sometimes getting, that “deal” , that “sponsorship” or that “contract”; can some times lead to you doing something you love on someone else’s terms … which was what a lot of people are trying to get away from in the first place…
